Driving Miss Cha

A 68-year-old Korean woman has failed her driving test over 770 times. She's spent close to 4K on the writing test which she has managed to continuously fail since 2005. It's a little odd though. Wouldn't some of the questions repeat themselves? I would think that she would have most of them memorized by now as well. Maybe Choi Yong-Cheol, the Giver of Tests, likes to write his own questions to mix it up.

"Choi said that Cha cannot pass the preliminary written section of the test, averaging scores of 30-50 whereas the pass mark is 60 out of 100. Local media said that Cha sells food and household items door to door at apartment complexes, carrying the items in a handcart, but wants to get a car for her business."

What a dick. This old woman wants to get a car for her business so she doesn't have to walk everywhere and he still won't pass her. Instead, Choi has his top henchman throw out this cheap little line to make himself look slightly better than a huge asshole.

"I feel sorry every time I see Cha fail. When she passes, I'll make a commemorative tablet myself and give it to her."

I'm sure it'll a nice moment for both of them. I've lived here for three years and have been driving for nearly a year. None of these drivers have any idea what traffic laws are. The written test will have no affect on Cha's driving ability. Ridiculous.
