RIP George Carlin

We lost another great.

"Comedian-actor George Carlin, known for his raunchy but insightful humor, died of heart failure Sunday in Los Angeles, his publicist said. He was 71. Carlin went into St. John's Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain. Carlin died at 5:55 p.m. PDT, The Associated Press reported."

Here's to the election with Carlin's take on voting.

Carlin was funny, true, but so gross. And he advocated smoking and free selling of marijuana. Not a responsible position when you are hawking from a stage and on TV. Yet his brand of humor was much less corrosive than Bill Maher's, another proponent of pot smoking. Nature should have killed Maher faster. Unfair.

I happen to agree with both of them on their stance of decriminalization.

Comparing Carlin and Maher is not easy and I'm not sure where that even came from. Honestly, I like Maher more than Carlin and think his brand of humor is much more effective.

In the end, I hope nature doesn't kill anyone of before their time.
